A few weeks ago I wrote a story about doctors at the local children's hospital using Wii games and other things to induce seizures and diagnose them better. The story came out on Sept. 1, and I thought it was a decent little localized story--I wish I'd had more time to do more national research, but I work for a local paper, and any national info would have been just an add-on.
The local NBC station totally ripped the story and did a video that came out Sept. 4. I only found out about it after I saw a feed to it on the MSNBC homepage. I'm sorta impressed they ripped off my story so quickly.
Ahh, the life of a journalist.
